Cutie

There is a neighborhood cat that visits us everyday. Cole named her Cutie. Cutie will follow us around and play with us.
Cole wants a cat so bad, but Dan is allergic. I'm not a cat person, but seeing how Cole is with felines makes me want to get one. He talks to them so sweetly and just wants to cuddle with them. We are working on Dan!

Here is Cole and Cutie.

Cole played ball with Cutie. (He rolled the balls and Cutie chased them.)

Paint Job

We were at Home Depot today and Cole saw some spray paint. He said he wanted to get some to paint his Mustang. He wanted blue, but they were out. So he picked white. When we got home we taped up his Mustang to make stripes and the number 11 on the side. (because 11 was an easy number to do! He really wanted 21.)
He was so excited about his painted car! He couldn't wait to drive it around.

Pimp My Ride

Cole took some old license plates, a symbol, and hub caps Papa and Dee Dee sent and taped them to his car.

He taped the license plate at the top so he could lift it up and use it for a trunk.

Rain, rain...you don't have to go away

We met friends at the park one afternoon and got caught in the rain. The kids didn't care! I had umbrellas, so we shared and they ran around. (That's Cole's friend Brady in the front.)
**I had a doctor's appointment to go to after the park...but didn't think of not having a change of clothes for Cole before I let him run in the rain. Brady had an extra shirt and gave it to us. Cole looked at it and told me he didn't like it and wouldn't wear it. I told him that he would be cold in the doctor's office with wet clothes. He didn't care. He didn't like the shirt. He knows what he likes and he is particular!

Phone

We were at Lowe's and Cole saw this display. He grabbed the shower attachment and called his friend Tyler.

That reminded me of something I used when I was teaching. In the plumbing aisle there is a pipe that looks like elbow macaroni. Kids can use it while reading out loud so they can hear themselves...and you can't hear them! (They have to whisper or talk quietly.) It is also good to help children hear sounds...you talk into one end and the other end is on their ear. Of course Cole only wants to use it as a phone. And he refuses to talk quietly. That boy!

Awwwww!

After Cole's last T-Ball game they went to a park and had pizza and played. He was hanging around with a little girl named Ella. They sat next to each other on the picnic table and she says to Cole: "I think you are silly." He says to her: "I think you are pretty." She says back to him: "I think you are handsome." Awwwww!

Milk Does A Body Good

Cole cracks me up. He will take a sip of milk and then stretch his arm out, look at it and say "Look how strong my bones are." :)
