Cole's buddy Ethan had a really cool laser tag birthday party! First it was kids vs kids, but then the dads got in on it too!

Misc. September

*Cole said "I am so angry I am losing my temperature."

* I took Cole to Disney on Ice. When it was over I asked him what his favorite part was. He said "the Zamboni"

*Cole still likes school. He loves to come home and sing the number songs and practice printing his letters.

*Cole is excited b/c it is fall! We got pumpkins and decorated inside and out.

Nashville Trip

We went to nashville with another family so Dan and his buddy could go to the Steelers game and Cole and his buddies could hang out and have some fun.
We started our trip at the CHEESECAKE FACTORY! Oh yeah!

Cooler

Tonight we met Dan for dinner when he got out of work. Cole decided to ride home in Dan's car instead of mine because he would look cooler in Dan's car. Wow...and this is at 6 years old!

It's A Mummy!

We read (and listened to on CD) the book The Skeleton Meets the Mummy. The Mummy was really a skeleton wrapped up. You decided that you wanted to be a Mummy, so you used blue tape and wrapped it around yourself until it ran out. I told you to go get some toilet paper and I finished the job. Then you rode around the yard being scary.

Kindergarten Moments

August 5, 2010 was your first day of Kindergarten. When I picked you up and asked how your day was you said "It was the awesomest day!"

Usually when I pick you up you say you had a bad day because of Sydney. You don't like her and it bugs you when she talks to you. Then I get the other stories from the day.

One day Mrs. A was there to open the car door for you in the morning drop-off line. You were excited to see her. You told me she is the reading teacher and is in the library. When she saw it was you she said you were one of the best kids in the library. Then she said to me that you are so sweet and she would take you home in a heartbeat.

While you lay down trying to go to sleep at night, you sing all the songs from Kindergarten. The color songs, the letter songs...

This week you are learning about the letter Tt. Today is Tie Day. Friday you get to take in a Teddy Bear.

Last night

Cole was riding in his Escalade talking on a cell phone. He stops and says, "Too bad I don't have Bluetooth."

As we were going in I noticed a beautiful sunset. We went back out and sat outside and watched it until it faded. Cole was laying in my lap saying what a great time he was having. Me too, buddy. I love the little moments and don't want to forget them.

A BEAR-y different party

For the past three years Cole has had a car themed b-day party at our house. I knew this year would be different because, although he still loves cars, he has developed other interests. He finally decided on a Build-A-Bear party. Since Ben and Jerry's is in the same mall, I thought it would be cool to go there for cake and ice cream after. It was a really great night...lots of fun!
