Halloween Party

We went to a Halloween party down the street. Cole was a warlock, I was a witch and Dan was just scary!
The party was tons of fun...the kids tie-dyed shirts, made popcorn hands, had a mummy race and ate so many yummy themed treats. OH and the best part...they got to ride 4 wheelers through a haunted path in the woods!

Erie

We spent a few days in Erie, PA and of course it snowed!!!!

We got Kenndrah a play purse for her birthday.
We got to hang out with Aunt Beth and Kenndrah.
Cole loves the tractor. He decorated it, drove it in the garage and driveway, bugged to drive it when he wasn't, and hooked on a trailer to fill with apples and deliver to the farmer's market.

Cole loves her!
After eating yummy Jack Frost donuts Cole decided we should move back because the food is so good!

Ohio Day!

When planning our trip home I was so excited to find out that the Shaker Woods Festival was going on. I always went to the festivals (Shaker Woods and Christmas In The Woods) when we lived in Ohio. It is a big craft fair in the woods. There are unique county style crafts and decorations...plus the best kettle corn ever! I HAD to plan an Ohio day. We went to Shaker and then to another favorite place of ours...Whitehouse Fruit Farm. They have beautiful surroundings, fresh fruit, speciality mixes and the yummiest donuts! We took Cole there every year for the pumpkin patch and fall fun. I was so excited to take Cole back there. We got to sample apples, eat donuts, roam the pumpkin patch and play in the kid's area. We had a good time. We even ran into some friends there! My friend Jacey and her family were there. We used to go to story time at Barnes and Noble with them, and then lunch at Panera after.
While in Ohio we also went to a favorite restaurant...Inner Circle Pizza. They have great pizza and great wings. Oh, we also stopped at Handels to get some ice cream...Spouse Like a House. Mmmmm. Vanilla ice cream with peanut butter chunks, chocolate swirl and chocolate covered peanut butter filled pretzels. OK, so we ate a lot on this trip...

Cutie is home!

I picked up Cutie from the kennel this morning while Cole was at school and thought a cat theme would be purrrfect for today! I had cat material left over from Cole's costume, so I used it as a place mat.

Cole woke up and said..."It's Monday! Muffin Tin Monday!" It's the one time a week where he actually WANTS to eat. :)

Here is what Cole had for lunch:
*a tuna sandwich in the shape of a cat
*milk
*kitty litter HAD TO DO IT! (crushed graham crackers and raisinettes)
*apple kitty (apple slice, candy corn, raisins, carrot sticks and cookie frosting)
*cat cheese
*scratching post (celery with cream cheese and peanut halves)

Cole was VERY HUNGRY tonight

When we were at Walmart one day I saw this display of Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar book. They want everyone to read this book today to help break a world record of the most people reading the same book on the same day.
We already have the book and have read it many times, so I thought I would add more to the day instead of just reading. So, we had a Very Hungry Caterpillar dinner! I put everything the caterpillar ate in the story on Cole's plate. Then after reading the story, Coleapillar got started on the foods! Of course he didn't start with the apple like the caterpillar did, he ate the sausage first. He ate the fruit last...and finished all the treats. None of this was a shock to me. We had fun shopping for the foods and eating them up!
