The boy melted my heart tonight.
When Dan came home tonight he had some change in his pocket. Cole took it and asked if it would be OK to put the coins in his car bank. We said yes. He ran down the hall, stopped, came back and said he would rather save the money for sick kids. (Awwww! I just ran to him and hugged him.)
We have been giving money to the Salvation Army when we see them...and last time we were in Wal*Mart they were collecting for a boy with leukemia. We have had many discussions about what the Salvation Army does to help people and why people collect money for sick kids. (He said he doesn't like that there are sick kids in the world.)
Cole has been really good this week...and now this. Merry Christmas to me! :)

He is a future pediatrician! Compassion is a hard lesson to teach children. He has a good role model. That's it, I'm sending my children to live with you.
Guess he's taking after his mommy already! What a sweet story.
