Today we had our 100 party to celebrate reading 100 books this summer. Here is Cole with his journal that we used to record all 100 books. All the kids brought 100 items that we used to make a floor graph. (Well, actually it was a driveway graph!) Cole chose 100 "Toys R Us size" cars.
Lining up his cars...
Look how long the graph was!
Sea shells, pennies, cars and superheroes! We discovered 100 superheroes were the longest and pennies were the shortest on the graph.
Snack time! Everyone brought different little snackie things to combine and share. We put it all in a bowl and dished out a bag full of candy corn, cheez its, cereal, raisins, marshmallows and mini cookies. The kids counted out 10 pieces to put in each of the 10 spots on their place mats. Then they had 100 things to eat!
